Janina Abiles

President, Learning Partner, Certified Yoga Instructor

When you work with someone, you deserve to know about who they are as a person. I am talking about the things you can't learn from clicking that Linkedin button. So here is a little bit more about me. I have worked in the learning & development field for more than 18 years. Prior to that, I managed teams and operations in retail and restaurants. I am passionate about yoga and became certified to teach several years ago. I have taught many styles from hot power vinyasa to yin and restorative. I have additional training in sound meditation and yoga nidra, so I enjoy mixing in those practices too. I have a creative side and like to dabble in artistic projects and furniture refinishing. I love plants, despite a tragic history of killing many over the years. But I have adopted a growth mindset, so I have been learning and improving my skills and have even propagated some plants with success. My fiance and I live in Durham, North Carolina near Research Triangle Park. We love to travel and when possible include our two dogs.
